This simple salad is a great afternoon snack.
Ingredients, serves 2 :
1 Apple, chopped, peeled
1 Banana, chopped
Chaat Masala to taste
Mix the fruits in a mixing bowl, add chaat masala to taste, somewhere between 1/2 - 1 tsp. Try to avoid adding salt to not increase your salt intake.
This is a great juice you can make year round.
1 pear or apple
1.5 cm or half inch of ginger
Juice all the ingredients and you have an awesome juice full of micronutrients, beta carotene and all the phytochemicals in ginger.
